Each bedroom at Cantabria is well appointed with own bathroom, toilet, shower and vanity. Care has been taken with non slip flooring, safety hand rails and seating. All rooms have wheelchair access, and are installed with automatic sprinkler systems.

Residents are welcome to enhance their rooms with precious possessions, furniture, paintings, etc. At Cantabria we encourage this as it strengthens our Resident's sense of security and belonging.

Some rooms have small kitchenettes, although our several kitchens provide a variety of meals catering for all diets and tastes.

Residents are nursed with care and dignity in the privacy of their own room, with hospice beds available for the terminally ill.

  • Rest Home Rooms

Cost of Rest Home room is $783.02 per week - a subsidy is available if criteria is meet. Rest Home rooms attract a surcharge of up to $50 a week. Cost includes 24 hour nursing care, meals, laundry, Diversional Therapy, transport for appointments and organised outings. Residents are encouraged to furnish their room with their own personal belongings.

  • Hospital Rooms

Cost of a Hospital room is $783.02 per week, a subsidy is available if criteria is meet. Hospital rooms attract a surcharge of up to $50 a week Cost includes full personalised nursing care, meals, laundry, Diversional Therapy, transport for appointments and organised outings. Residents are encouraged to furnish the room with their own personal belongings.

  •  Studio Units
Priced between $50,000 to $100,000
Fully serviced at the contract rate per week, $783.02, with care and services tailored to your need.

 

Self-Contained Independent Units

Ranging in cost from $60,000 to $90,000 for the smallest, approx $125,000 to $160,000 for 2 bedrooms and above that for 3 bedrooms.

We have a Unit Nurse to oversee care and assist you as required and a 24-hour nurse call service. The Units are set in a park like surroundings and we take care of the gardens and lawns. Most of the Units are thermally heated.

UNITS & GROUNDS

Cantabria offers a range of private self contained Units which are available for occupation right agreement.

There are one or two bedroom options with kitchen, lounge, laundry, bathroom. All Units and grounds are fully serviced.

An emergency bell system is installed for your total security and peace of mind.

Meals can be prepared in the Units, although the option of meals in the dining room is available.

Unit Residents may make full use of all the recreational facilities, and be part of the sense of community at Cantabria.

Garaging for cars is available with most Units.

As most people have individual tastes and ideas we are open and flexible to ensure our Unit Residents feel right at home.
